This year, 1,857,344 candidates took part in the SSC, Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) examinations under 11 education boards. The authorities have confirmed that detailed instructions for checking the results will also be announced through an official notice.
SSC and Equivalent Exam 2026
The SSC and equivalent examinations started on April 21, 2026, and continued until May 20, 2026. Practical examinations were held after the written tests. Candidates from nine general education boards, the Madrasah Education Board and the Technical Education Board participated this year.
Earlier, the authorities planned to publish the results on July 20. However, the schedule was postponed because the preparation work was not completed. The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee later confirmed through an official notice that the results will now be released simultaneously across the country on August 10, 2026.
Waiting for SSC Result 2026
Students across Bangladesh are now waiting for the publication of the results. Once officially released, candidates can check their marksheet online using their roll and registration numbers. The result will also be available through the SMS service for those without internet access.
The Secondary and Higher Education Division has confirmed that the results will be published on Monday, August 10, 2026. Secretary Md. Abdul Khaleque confirmed the information. Earlier, Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan announced July 20 as the target date, but the publication was later delayed. According to the latest notice issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, all education boards will publish the results at the same time across the country.
How to Check SSC Result 2026 Online
The education boards will publish the results through the official result website. Students should keep their admit cards ready before checking the result because the roll number and registration number will be required. The online marksheet will become available after the official publication.
Visit the official website: Open the Education Board Result website after the results are published.
Select the examination: Choose SSC/Dakhil/Equivalent from the examination list.
Choose your education board: Select the correct board such as Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla or another board.
Enter roll and registration number: Type both numbers exactly as printed on your admit card.
Select the year and submit: Choose 2026, complete the security verification and click View Result to see the marksheet.
After completing these steps, students can view their subject-wise grades and GPA online. They may also print or save a copy of the marksheet for future use until the original documents are collected from their institutions.
Details on Result
A total of 1,857,344 candidates appeared in this year's examinations. Among them, 930,305 are male and 927,039 are female. The figures show almost equal participation between male and female students across the country.
The Dhaka Education Board has the highest number of candidates with 366,650 students, while the Sylhet Education Board has the lowest with 89,421 candidates. The examinations were held in thousands of institutions and hundreds of examination centres under all education boards.
Mobile SMS Method
Students can also receive their results through mobile SMS after the official publication. This method is useful when the result website becomes slow because of heavy traffic. Any mobile operator can be used to receive the result.
